CFR - Cost and Freight
OK, so the buyer wants you to send the goods by sea to a named port. The buyer will pick up the insurance charges so you don’t have to add those to the price. Easy, but make sure water is involved in the transport, otherwise use the term CPT.
CFR requires the seller to obtain clearance of the goods for export.
